ETHAFOAM*
M Series
products are designed to maintain the cushioning and physical
performance of traditional Dow ETHAFOAM products and contain
less than 10% of the Lower Explosive Limit (0.1LEL) of residual
flammable gasses as often preferred for use in many applications.
These products can be used in many different cushion configurations
of container designs without affecting shock or vibration protection.
ETHAFOAM* M3 polyethylene foam is a strong, resilient, medium-density 62 kg/m3 (3.9 pcf), closed-cell foam. It is ideally suited as a component material in products requiring a shock absorbing, vibration dampening, insulating, barrier or buoyancy component, and as a material for cushioning components in packaging applications for impacts or loadings up to 5.0 psi. ETHAFOAM M3 polyethylene foam is a PPP-C-1752D, Type III, Grade A material.
